Since our inception, Touch Developments have been involved in the acquisition of numerous sites, varying in size. Our strategy is to maximise value by utilising our planning expertise and local connections to negotiate S106 agreements, value engineer schemes and address technical constraints and design efficient market facing schemes for private house builders and those operating in the partnerships market.
Stafford Rugby Club
After nearly 30 years of attempts by stakeholders to relocate sports facilities in Stafford, Touch Developments secured agreement with all parties for the relocation of Stafford Rugby Club to a more favourable and sustainable facility on land owned by Lord Stafford.
The relocation enabled the redevelopment of the former sports facilities on land close to the town centre for 65 houses which were delivered by Lovell. The site has excellent transport links and access to local amenities.
This innovative planning strategy has provided Stafford Rugby Club with a sustainable and long-term future, as well as a much needed cash injection and ensures that grass roots Rugby remains accessible in Stafford.
