Touch Developments has worked alongside several large Registered Providers (Housing Associations) to provide mixed use tenure schemes of affordable housing on both brownfield and greenfield sites.
Wheelhouse Road, Rugeley
This complicated brownfield site was in receivership when Touch Developments First got involved. The site was complex, with many technical constraints and had been undeveloped for many years. An additional legal complexity involving a clawback to a third party further hampered the appeal of this site.
Touch Developments worked tirelessly to agree terms with the third party resolving the legal issues and worked alongside Orbit Housing Association to achieve planning permission for 71 houses.
Hall End Land, Pattingham
A rural exception site where Touch Developments proved a housing need with the local Parish for an all affordable scheme of 19 houses working alongside Housing Plus who were the recipients of the homes.
Mons-Hill, Dudely
Touch Developments acquired the first Phase of this former college campus in Dudley and agreed terms with Midland Heart to deliver a 100% affordable housing scheme. Through negotiation, a new S106 was entered into which improved the scheme viability and financial return to the College.
